Project Showcase: Creating a Unique Brand Identity for New Residential Community - Eastwell Farms - in Tioga, TX

 

Eastwell Farms is a new residential community located in Tioga, Texas. The development’s name and brand identity draws inspiration from the area’s natural beauty, the Native American meaning behind the town name, and most notably, its history of mineral wells and healing waters that drew people to the community.

OBJECTIVE:

We began by conducting in-depth research to fully capture the unique story of Tioga and its surroundings. This informed our creative process in several key areas:

  • Community Naming: We crafted a name for the community and its streets, reflecting the historical and natural themes of the area.

  • Visual Identity: A warm and sophisticated color palette, unique brand patterns, and curated imagery were developed to evoke the community’s rural and serene essence and create a connection with prospective buyers.

  • Logo Suite: We designed a versatile logo suite, including a primary logo, brand mark, and favicon. These elements ensure strong visual elements across various platforms and applications.

  • Typography: Selected fonts were chosen for their readability and alignment with the brand aesthetic, ensuring consistency throughout marketing materials.

  • Brand Style Guide: All elements were compiled into a comprehensive guide that can be easily shared with future homebuilders, to provide clear, actionable instructions for brand applications, from signage to sales collateral.

APPROACH:

We began by leading them through our brand strategy process to solidify their positioning and messaging statements. This language can be used across their presentation materials and social channels. We then embarked on brand identity development followed by website design.

RESULT:

The result is a distinct brand identity that captures the rich history and natural beauty of Tioga while embracing a Texas-inspired vibe that resonates deeply with the developer’s roots and future residents. The cohesive branding will serve as a vital tool in creating impactful signage and marketing materials, enabling a streamlined sales process as the community prepares to kick off home sales. 

This project exemplifies our expertise in delivering tailored branding solutions for real estate developers, helping them cast a clear vision for a community early in the development process. POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a creative and strategic Content Strategist to join our real estate marketing agency. You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies for social media, email marketing, blogs, and newsrooms that align with client objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Collaborate with clients to gather relevant information and updates, ensuring content is accurate, timely, and engaging.

  • Manage a content calendar for consistent and strategic content distribution.

  • Analyze content performance using analytics tools to optimize engagement and conversion rates.

  • Assisting with team communication and sharing of assets to ensure everyone has information needed to execute deliverables

  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Proofreading skills important to be successful in this role

  • Ability to analyze data and apply insights to improve content strategies.

  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving and collaboration.

Southridge Park is a professional services consulting company specializing in all aspects of real estate acquisitions, entitlements, development, and management. They work with universities, family offices with legacy land, and real estate investors and developers.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Seeking an experienced marketing/PR agency pro with a passion for serving clients well, managing a team as well as rolling up your sleeves, and an entrepreneurial drive to help shape new services/revenue streams in our fast-growing branding, marketing and PR agency serving clients in the real estate development, homebuilding and construction industry.  


This role is the ideal fit for a seasoned marketing/PR professional with past experience running multi-faceted communications & marketing campaigns, as well as a team of marketing specialists. 


You’ll be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing strategy & project management and overall, ensuring that we’re meeting client expectations and driving continued value for the organizations we partner with. You’ll work closely with our CEO and be an integral part of the success and growth of our expanding agency.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Client & Project Management - 75%

A large portion of this role will involve daily account management for a roster of clients. Responsibilities will include: 

  • Supporting the CEO in developing strategy for clients across PR, communications, marketing, content & social media 

  • Serving as the day-to-day point of contact for clients, overseeing their workflow and strategy execution

  • Acting as project management lead, driving project planning, deadline setting and managing vendors/contractors/team members who will support the execution of projects

  • Supervise, mentor, and inspire the account management team

  • Leading client meetings, ensuring that the team is well-prepared beforehand with agenda creation and current/timely updates

  • Proactive client communication, sharing regular updates on the status of projects and emphasizing the value we bring to their business as a partner

  • Overseeing the development of client reports each quarter

Agency Strategy, Sales/Marketing + Operations - 25%

  • Supporting our agency growth by overseeing our marketing efforts, including content creation, social media, sales proposal templates, case studies, etc. 

  • Conducting strategic research to improve the success of our clients' strategies and campaigns

  • Proactively solving problems and issues that arise in order to meet goals & objectives  

  • Supporting the variety of tasks and projects that arise when working in a fast-paced agency environment 

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications or business 

  • Minimum of 7 years working inside a marketing/PR agency with experience leading client accounts and budgets

  • Experience in the homebuilding industry a plus, but not required

  • While this role will largely be a remote position, we do require this person to be in the DFW metro and available for in-person client meetings 1-3 times per month in the Frisco area

  • Media relations & external comms experience, including an understanding of print, broadcast and digital opportunities  

  • Social media familiarity and proficiency

  • Can lead client accounts with minimal oversight and supervision and manages up to get what’s needed for success 

  • Excellent writing & editing skills with the ability to draft on-strategy and error-free content for client deliverables on an as-needed basis; knowledge of AP style

  • Self-starter who takes initiative to set goals for themselves and the team

  • Maintains calm & confidence in all client interactions

  • Experience working with Slack and Google Suite

  • As this is a position that will mostly be WFH, you must have a quiet home office and reliable internet connection with the ability to connect to Zoom, Slack, Email, etc.

Since I founded Edit Your Brand in the fall of 2017, we’ve had the pleasure of serving a variety of brands in the luxury lifestyle space, from home interiors and design-related businesses to ultra-premium, handcrafted whiskey.

As we head into our fifth year in business (very exciting!), we’re thrilled to announce we’ve expanded our luxury focus with a new client vertical to support real estate developer, construction and homebuilder brands.  

The decision to add this niche focus came from a few converging factors:  

MARKET GROWTH // NATIONAL + NORTH TEXAS

The national real estate market is on a rapid trajectory of growth due to post-pandemic buyer preferences to spread out and have more livable space, as well as the largest generation, 80 million millennials, entering the prime spending years of their mid-thirties. 

Headquartered in North Texas, we’re also hyper aware of how many people and corporations are migrating from California and other states to Texas, creating exponential growth for the region. 

MY CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

My husband and I spent the past year building a custom home, working closely with a homebuilder and various design trades and craftsmen. During this time, it became clear that a significant gap existed in how these businesses presented themselves through their web presence and sales materials, and the beautiful work they created in real life. There was a clear disconnect due to lack of time, resources or expertise, and I knew we could help.
